Lo abbiamo sentito nominare tante volte, ma in fondo siamo sempre stati un po' scettici... ma adesso è successo proprio a noi: il mal d'africa è nato dentro di noi; si è sviluppato in silenzio, mentre camminavamo tra le dune o viaggiavamo per le piste infinite del deserto del Kalahari. E adesso siamo qui a raccontarci come è accaduto...

Esperienze di viaggio - Gabi's Group Experience

Dear Luca,
I am one of Gabi’s friends who had the big chance to accompany her on this wonderful trip to the South of Namibia that you and Werner had organized especially for her and us. As you know, Gabi had previously participated in tours guided by Werner (three times , to be exact), and she always came back fully enthusiastic. So, when I decided to join her this time, my expectations were very high, and I can only assure you that they were surpassed in every respect. Werner was an excellent companion, guide, driver, knowledgeable entertainer, detected animals we would never have seen without him and, last but not least, we enjoyed his sense of humour, his calmness and … his grilled lamb chops. Each of the lodges or farm houses you chose had its own charm, and it would be hard to tell which one I liked most, the farmhouse at Canyon Mountain Camp with its inner court full of flowers, or the somewhat primitive Mesosaurus Fossil Camp, or the Little Sossus Lodge. I think it was a big advantage that we were only a group of six and could stay in smaller places, sometimes dining with the owners.

The beauty of Namibia’s South itself was overwhelming, the ever changing landscape and colours, the geological highlights, the endless plains, deep canyons, the wonderful starry sky and and a stillness never experienced before. I just do hope that I will always be able to recall all these unique impressions.

Luca, I wish you and Werner continued success with your Bush Culture Experience and the Living Museum.

To Luca & Werner, thank you so much for organising our trip of a life time. We were lucky enough to spend 3 weeks with Werner travelling over 3,000 miles through the beautiful & varied landscape of Namibia. From the desert to the sea, from the salt pan to the mountains, every landscape was different. The highlight has to have been spending time with the local people by visiting the Living Museums of the Mafwe and Ju/'Hoansi-San. Our favourite holiday by far with our new friends in Namibia - thank again & we hope to see you soon!

Inizialmente avevamo programmato la Namibia per curiosità, improvvisamente è diventata il nostro viaggio di nozze, Bushculture l'ha trasformata in un'indimenticabile esperienza, magica come le favole dei bambini... ed ora rimane tanta tanta voglia di tornare.

La prima volta che sono andata in Namibia era il Natale del 2001. Avevo già viaggiato molto in tante parti del mondo: Europa, Stati Uniti e Oriente. Ho sempre amato viaggiare, conoscere altri mondi e altra gente, confrontarmi con raltà diverse. Quando sono arrivata in Namibia, ho subito percepito che questa volta era diverso... che oltre alla vacanza c'era qualcosa in più. La pace e la serenità mi contagiava, dai sorrisi della gente al rosso struggente dei tramonti. Quando sono ripartita sentivo dentro di me un sentimento strano, una sorta di malinconia come chi lascia la casa materna. Da quella volta sono tornata in Namibia tante volte, ma ogni volta sento ancora quella voce, quel richiamo dentro di me.
